DRIVERS AGE: For cars in groups X, A , S, C, D, the minimum age is 21 yrs old for credit card holders and 23 yrs for non credit card holders. For all other groups the minimum age is 25 yrs.

            DRIVERS LICENSE: A valid driver’s license that has been in use for a minimum of one year.

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD: Minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). Every hour that exceeds the agreed rental time, is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate. For an over thee hour excess, the renter is charged with an additional daily rate.

                                   FUEL: Gasoline consumption is payable by the renter.

                  TRAFFIC FINES: Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violations of the Greek Traffic Law, during the rental period, are solely the renter’s responsibility.

                      INSURANCE: Rental rates include the following coverage’s: for death or damage to third parties up to 484 225,97 €, material damages to third parties (excluding the HERMES) up to 96845,19 €, for fire to the HERMES vehicle.

For damages to the rented car, the renter is responsible for up to the entire market value of the vehicle at the time of the accident. In case of theft of the rented car, the renter is responsible for 50% of the market value of the car.

        COLLISION DAMAGE

                                WAIVER (CDW): The renter’s responsibility for damages mentioned in paragraph 6 is limited- provided he/she signs the relevant terms to 300 € by paying an additional charge of 7,5€/day (for the cars in group X, A, B, S), and  to 350 € by paying an additional charge of 13€/day (for the cars in groups C,D) (CDW). The terms mentioned above will apply provided the collision damages are not due to violations of the Greek Traffic Law. The renter may waive the above liability of 300-350€ by paying 4,5 € /day in groups X, A, B, S and 7,5 € in groups C, D (FDW).

      PERSONAL ACCIDENT

                         INSURANCE (P.A.I): For a charge of 3 €/day. It covers the driver and the passengers for medical expenses of 880 € and the loss of life or total/partial permanent dismemberment up to the amount of 8 805 €/person. Aggregate indemnity for each accident is limited to 44 0202 € (P.A.I)

THEFT PROTECTION (T.P): In an optional service, which if accepted, relieves the renter from all financial responsibility for loss or damage to the HERMES vehicle by or following theft, in line with the condition of our rental Agreement. T.P can be obtained under the following daily charges: 3 € for cars in groups X, A, B, S and 5 € in groups C, D, E.

           ADDITIONAL DRIVER

                                CHARGE: 1,5 €/day.

                       BABY SEATS: Available on request for children up to 3 yrs old, with a daily charge of 2 €.

    ACROSS THE BOARDER

                                RENTALS: An advance written authorization from HERMES Greece is required.

           FERRYING THE CAR: An advance written authorization from HERMES Greece is required.

                        AVAILABILITY: HERMES reserves the right to change car model in exceptional cases.
